Tour of Oman
01 Mar 2010

A week of fast-paced and stirring competition reached its climax on February 19 with the final stage in the first Tour of Oman. The 18.6km time trial was the culmination of routes that had taken more than 120 international riders over nearly 700km in Oman, experiencing the best that the sultanate has to offer. Fabian Cancellara of Team SaxoBank, Swiss Olympic, World Time Trial Champion and a worthy competitor, claimed the overall win. Another person to watch out for is the young Norwegian Edvald Boasson Hagen of Team Sky (GBR).
